Convert Scanned Documents and Images Into E-Book Format
A quick Google search for “EduScan” should provide you with a wealth of resources on how to convert scanned documents and images into editable Word documents. The best part is that you can easily convert a document in the form of an eBook or PDF in minutes using just a few simple steps. What’s more is that you don’t have to worry about your computer getting destroyed, burning a CD or DVD, or having to copy your document to another location for safe-keeping.
In order to convert your scanned document and image into an eBook, you will need to go online and do some research regarding what’s called the “EduScan Wizard”. This is a software program that is used by thousands of companies worldwide. It will enable you to convert scanned documents into the format which is most widely accepted. You should not need to have a professional degree in Computer Science to use this software program. You will only need basic knowledge of computer programming and English to be able to operate the software effectively. Click here for more information about 2pdf.com
After you’ve got the software installed on your computer, it will ask you if you want to “Create a file and convert it” or “Make an ebook”. This option is up to you. Once you’ve made your choice, you can click on the “Create” button and the software will prompt you to choose a directory from which you want the files to be transferred. The directories that are recommended by the “EduScan Wizard” are a “My Documents” folder and a “Documents” folder on the local hard drive. Click on the “Change Destination” button. Your selected directories will now be placed within the new folder that you’ve created.
Now you’ll want to create a subfolder named “Books” and then drag all the scanned pages that you wish to have converted into that folder. Make sure that you select all of the pages that are currently in your PDF document, otherwise you won’t be able to convert the book to an eBook. Once all of the pages have been dragged, the program will automatically create a folder for each page.
To access the subfolder, click on the subfolder. When you click the “Open” button, you will be presented with a series of screens that indicate the files that are currently being transferred and how many pages are within them. Click on the “OK” button to begin the conversion. Once the conversion is complete, you will notice that a new folder is created for each page, labeled as “Books”. You can now open the newly created books in your browser or any other application that you choose.
If you’re in the process of converting any other types of documents into electronic books, you should be able to transfer the documents in the same way. Just be sure to keep in mind that the instructions should be followed for each type of document separately.
