A balance diet is important for a healthy wolf. Commercial diets are poor in both protein and fat. There aren’t enough fiber and essential vitamins to help ward off disease. As with all carnivores, too much protein can cause an accumulation of fat, which leads to weakness and a decrease in mobility.
